Ace Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu who has dislodged from a family hero to villain in ‘Legend’ has played several key roles in various Telugu films from then as a character artist, antagonist, and other notable roles. Now, he has become super busy with a series of film shoots and their releases.

For the past few years, he has portrayed several roles not just in Telugu films but in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada movies as well. Most of these films have also brought him huge recognition, accolades, and awards in other regional industries. Now, Jagapathi is all set to make his Bollywood debut soon.

As per the latest reports, Jagapathi Babu will be seen essaying a negative role in the upcoming Bollywood film ‘Pukar’, directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. The movie has Farhan Akhtar playing the lead role, and Rakul Preet Singh shares the screen space with him as the female lead in the film.

Farhan’s father Javeed Akhtar is reportedly penning the screenplay for the film, which will talk about ‘forest perseveration’. Farhan will be seen as a Forest Ranger in the film. Lately, we have seen similar content in the Rana Daggubati starrer ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, where Rana was seen fighting against deforestation in the film.

The Bollywood film will reportedly commence its shoot in December, and Jagapathi Babu will be joining the shoot from then. Jagapathi Babu was recently seen in ‘Maha Samudram’, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, where his negative character was well received by the audience.
