Kajol and Tanisha’s playful public spat during Durga Puja reminds us of every sibling rivalry ever!

There’s no love greater than the one siblings share, and when it comes to arguments, they show some tough love there too. No matter how strong their bond is, all siblings have fights, and who better than parents to know how crazy getting the two to make peace can be. Even celebrity children, young or old, know this well.

Take celebrity sisters, Kajol and Tanisha Mukherjee for example. Recently, a video of the two stars came to light, and we can’t stop gushing about how relatable the video is!

In the video which has surfaced online, the two sisters, Kajol and Tanisha are seen attending Durga Puja festivities with their mother and veteran actress Tanuja. The two are seen joyfully attending festivities, but break into a playful spat. At one point, elder sister Kajol can be heard saying, “Just stop, you’re not getting any brownie points…” and later can be heard saying ‘Shut up.” Just as the cameras zoom in on the two, their mother Tanuja walks in and shushes them, making them call the argument off.

Thanks to their mother’s intervention, they finally called it quits and happily posed for the shutterbugs, looking their fashionable best!

As hilarious as this is, netizens are calling the video relatable. It’s a sheer example of the brick bats and love hate relationship siblings share!

The little spat aside, both the stars, who are one of the most popular siblings in Bollywood have been fairly open about the love that they have for each other. Just like sisters grow up to be each other’s best friends and trusted confidantes, Kajol and Tanisha, too, share a warm and lovely relationship with each other. Despite constant comparisons, career trajectories, arguments, they have stayed together through thick and thin, and are super close! Their love for each other is visible all through their Instagram feeds! Take a look at some of the posts!

Lessons to learn from their sisterly relationship

Be it Kajol and Tanisha, or other siblings, every sibling relationship can go through its fair share of fights and breaks. While siblings can be your best friends, it’s important to let go of comparisons, insecurities and act as a team to resolve issues. The celebrity siblings have often talked about this, about being there for each other.

While Tanishaa, as the younger sibling of the lot has met with a lot of comparisons, especially with her also being an actor, she has often made it clear that she doesn’t try to give into comparisons, and focuses on bringing out her individual personality. In one of her older interviews, she also spoke that her mother instilled values in them which helped them get closer to each other:

“These things would affect you when you are younger. Even now when people draw comparisons, I feel sad for them. It might sound a bit egotistical on my part but I don’t compute it in my brain. No two people in this world can be compared.”

Kajol, too, who keeps sharing photos of the two together has admitted that being raised in an all-female household, they have been caring for each other since they were young, and admits that she would love for her two kids, Nysa and Yug to have such a relationship as well:

“I was raised in a pure female household where there had been no male at all. There was my mother, my mother’s mother, and my mother’s mother’s mother who used to take care of me. And there was my younger sister. I hope and pray that I can teach my children the same things that my mother taught me. I try to teach my kids by practising what I preach.”

How wonderful is this? They are celebrity siblings who break into fights like little children, but at the end of the day, the love that they share overpowers everything, just like for all siblings!
